Binance teamed up with Mastercard to launch a new prepaid card in Argentina to bring crypto payments to the region. Users will be able to avail a range of benefits such as shopping in crypto, up to 8% in crypto cashback and zero fees on ATM withdrawals.
This information has been given by Binance on Twitter account as well as Michael Miebach who is the Chief Executive Officer at Mastercard has also told in his LinkedIn post.
"We can unlock the full potential of blockchain technology when we make it easier to access + easier to use.
One way we do that is by bringing crypto to everyday purchases. To make that a reality, we’re working with Binance to let people to use their crypto to make purchases at 90m+ stores that accept Mastercard. Launching this work in Argentina and plans to expand from there.
What could the blockchain industry look like in five years? We’re seeing hints of that.
